Advanced Bartending
Designed for bartenders who are ready to advance their careers and take their professional skills to the next level, the Advanced Bartending Course at Vietnamese American Polytechnic College (AmCollege) provides in-depth training in bar operations management, bar layout and design, menu development, advanced mixology techniques, and flair bartending.
Through a combination of advanced technical skills and practical industry knowledge, graduates will be well prepared to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities or take on professional roles such as bar managers, operators, or beverage specialists within the F&B industry. Students will learn how to create engaging bar concepts, develop distinctive beverage menus, and craft signature drinks that deliver memorable customer experiences.
The course also focuses on advanced bartending techniques, professional flair performance, and creative beverage development, equipping students with the skills and confidence to participate in national and international bartending competitions.

- Advanced Bartending Techniques: Develop proficiency in advanced mixology techniques, professional drink presentation, creative garnish preparation, and flair bartending performance.
- Bar Business & Operations: Build essential knowledge in bar management, staff management, brand development, beverage quality control, business planning, bar set-up and layout, and menu design.
- Professional Skills & Qualities: Develop the key attributes of a professional bartender, including creativity, responsibility, the ability to perform under pressure, effective communication skills, and a professional work ethic.

The curriculum is developed by the AmCollege academic team based on the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required of professional managers in the bartending industry.
Through advanced and career-oriented training, students are equipped with the skills and confidence to manage bar operations, start their own businesses, or participate in professional bartending competitions in Vietnam and internationally.
AmCollege’s training facilities are designed to simulate professional bar environments found in leading bars, restaurants, and hotels.

Class schedules are designed to accommodate learners from different backgrounds and with varying time commitments. Classes are available at different times throughout the day and in the evening, allowing students to select a schedule that best suits their personal and professional commitments.
Upon successful completion of the Advanced Bartending Course, students will receive a certificate issued by AmCollege, recognized nationwide.
